This is really interesting - I've been reading that new ebook "Free" and it talks about the dramatic difference between your audience when you charge even 1 cent vs giving something away for free. Essentially, if you want a large audience you cannot charge them directly. Of course it is possible that if you want to have a smaller but higher quality audience you may want to charge even a tiny bit of money.

I generally use Acorn when touch up graphics. It is probably the only image editor I really "get".

This is a very detailed tutorial. Toward the end he talks about how to use "blob" data - ie: how you can save binary data like images into the database. This is something I still have not figured out.
